| Our mindset is to always be on the lookout for a Hampshire boar regardless of time or place. When we initially saw this Norman boar back in his pen and the alley prior to the show at Summer Type I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was intrigued. I was sold the minute he crossed the chips in Indy because Hampshires with this type of skeleton don’t surface very often if at all. Butter’s set to his shoulder, knee and pastern with this hip and hind leg is undeniably as good as I’ve seen for years. Butters has a stout jawline and skull with a great body cavity and I truly feel will make a long-lasting impact for this breed and our herd. |
